A Little Bastanchury History

Domingo Bastanchury came around Cape Horn to California in 1860. For several years he worked as a sheep herder; then he acquired a band of sheep for himself that grew and grew….  From these humble beginnings, Bastanchury Ranch was formed, which became one of the largest citrus grove in the world, covering the hills of North Orange County. 

Domingo’s entrepreneurship spirit and knowledge of plumbing was passed down through the generations, which gave birth to Bastanchury Plumbing. In 1991, the grandson of Domingo Bastanchury used his own entrepreneurship knowledge and skills to start a Plumbing company, now known as Bastanchury Plumbing Inc.
